DCS/SLS’s primary duty is to provide the appropriate support tailored to the needs and desires of each individual to enable each to live as independently as possible.What you'll do:Assist, monitor, and teach individual(s) with preparation of daytime activities and encourage good personal hygiene and behavior appropriate in their home or apartment. These activities may include grocery shopping, menu planning, meal preparation, and clean upEncourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral challengesHelp plan, create, and organize tasks and schedules that promote goal achievement for your clientsProvide consistent documentation of progress through case notesYou'd be great if you: Have a passion for helping others and believe in treating people with dignity and respectCan problem solve and adapt to different client needsAre a strong communicator and dependableAre comfortable working independently in one-on-one settingsHave experience working in a similar role or field (preferred, not required)Are willing to learn and grow in this roleRequirements:Able to pass a background checkReady to Apply?
