Job Description CNC Set-up Operator3rd shiftUp to 23/hr. | 7pm – 5:30am Monday – ThursdayWhat Matters MostCompetitive starting pay of up to $23 per hour based on experienceSchedule: Monday through Thursday, 7pm – 5:30amLocation: Mentor, OhioTemp-to-hire opportunity with training and long-term growth potentialJob DescriptionAs a CNC Set up operator, you will perform a variety of tasks in a machine shop setting, including setting up and running milling, turning, drilling, and inspection. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area while producing quality parts according to customer and engineering specifications.Responsibilities:Set-up and operate milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing, and sanding machinesDetect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Machining SupervisorMaintain clean and orderly work areas and follow all safety proceduresPerform inspection of machined parts and document resultsComplete and maintain required production paperworkRead and interpret blueprints and routersUse basic math for part calculations and handheld measurement toolsQualifications and Requirements:Previous experience on 3rd shift requiredAbility to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometersAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and qualityMust be able to complete pre-employment screeningsBenefits and Perks:Up to $23/hr. based on experienceMedical, Dental, Vision, and voluntary insurance options100% Tuition Reimbursement401(k) with company match and no vesting scheduleSupportive, team-oriented work environmentOpportunities for training and career advancementYour New Organization:Join a well-established manufacturing company with a strong reputation for quality and innovation. The base salary for this position is up to $23/hr. based on experience, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
