To be a Guardian driver is to be a leader on the road, a problem‑solver in the field, and a proud ambassador of the company’s commitment to quality.Essential DutiesTransport goods and materials to and from designated locations.Heavy-Duty Rotator, Rollback, and recovery vehicle with a GVWR rating of more than 26,000 lbs.Working with the Dispatch team on customer calls.Operate heavy duty vehicles such as trucks, trailers, and buses.Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including checking oil, water, and tire pressure.Ensure cargo is properly secured and loaded.Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation.Other duties as assignedQualifications, Education And ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED (preferred). Relevant trade school - Towing, recovery or transport accreditation.At least two (2) years of relative commercial driving experience.Basic mechanical skills and ability to use toolsValid commercial driver's license (CDL - A) relative to vehicle operatedClean driving recordAbility to operate heavy duty vehicles safely and efficientlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsFlexibility to work weekends and holidays as neededCompetencies And AbilitiesSafety is our number one priority.Strong customer service skills, professional demeanorMust be able to speak, write and communicate in EnglishAbility to communicate calmly and effectivelyBasic technology skills. Ability to use GPS, company-issued software, mobile deviceTime management skillsBasic mechanical skills and ability to use toolsAttention to detail and accuracy when documenting work, hours, and informationPhysical RequirementsJob requires lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, working outdoors in the environment can be exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat and other weather conditions.
