Job Title: Junior EstimatorLocation: Farmingdale, NYSalary: $90K-$110K + BenefitsWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable civil contractor specializing in paving and infrastructure projects across Long Island. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming work, our client is looking to appoint a Junior Estimator to join their expanding team.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop a career within civil construction estimating. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced estimators and project teams, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of paving and sitework projects.Responsibilities:Assist with the preparation of cost estimates and bid submissions for paving and civil construction projectsReview plans, specifications, and tender documentationComplete quantity take-offs and assist with pricing exercisesObtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotationsMaintain bid records and estimating databasesLiaise with project managers, vendors, and internal teamsSupport pre-construction and tender activities from initial enquiry through submissionRequirements:Previous construction, internship, or estimating experience beneficial but not essentialStrong numerical and analytical abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelKnowledge of estimating software is advantageousAbility to interpret construction drawings and specifications is a plusExcellent attention to detail and communication skillsMotivated individual eager to learn and build a long-term careerBenefits:BonusPTO/Sick Days401(K) Health InsuranceLong-term career progressionAPPLY today for immediate consideration!
