This is a remote, client-facing accounting role focused on construction accounting, job costing, financial review, account cleanup, and client communication. The position starts part-time and is expected to grow into a full-time role as client needs increase.About MyBuilderCPA MyBuilderCPA is an accounting firm that works exclusively with residential home builders in the United States. We support clients with bookkeeping, job costing, month-end close, and financial reporting using QuickBooks Online and construction management software such as Buildertrend and JobTread.ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of construction clients and serve as a primary point of contactLead client meetings, gather information, and identify accounting issues affecting financial accuracyReview financial statements, job cost reports, and general ledger activity for completeness and accuracyIdentify issues related to job costing, cost coding, and financial organizationHelp clean up and stabilize incomplete or disorganized accounting recordsSupport month-end close and help ensure timely, accurate reportingTranslate client questions and business needs into clear action items for the internal teamCommunicate effectively with clients and team members to keep work moving forwardRespond to urgent client questions and help resolve accounting-related issuesRequired QualificationsExperience in construction accounting, including residential, commercial, or subcontractor environmentsStrong knowledge of QuickBooks OnlineUnderstanding of job costing and construction project financial workflowsAbility to review financial data and identify errors, inconsistencies, or process issuesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentAbility to collaborate with a distributed teamStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Buildertrend, JobTread, or similar construction softwareExperience cleaning up books or taking over disorganized accounting systemsExperience in accounting operations or back-office support for construction companiesCPA, bookkeeping certification, or similar credentialCompensation and Work Structure40 hours per weekFull-time positionRemote role for candidates located in the United StatesAnnual compensation of USD $90,000Work EnvironmentFully remote positionRegular client communication by video, phone, and emailCollaboration with U.S.-based clients and an offshore accounting teamApply If you have construction accounting experience and enjoy working directly with clients to improve financial accuracy and job costing, we encourage you to apply.#J-18808-Ljbffr
