A mental health organization in Western New York is currently seeking a licensedForensic Inpatient Psychiatrist to join their growing team in Rochester.Responsibilities:TheForensic Inpatient Psychiatrist will be responsible for:Providing lethality assessments, suicide precautions and forensic evaluations when neededOrdering laboratory tests or diagnostic assessments, including consultation with medical specialty providersPerforming first aid and medical triage, including initial physical examination on new admissions in the event that a Physician is not on siteProvidingrestraint and seclusionProvidingpsychiatric services via Video TeleconferencePerforming other duties, as neededQualifications:License to practice medicine in New York StateBoard Certified Adult Psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and NeurologyValid National Provider Identification Number (NPI)Valid Federal Narcotics Number (DEA Number)Enrolled in CMS and remain an unconditional participating provider in the Medicare and Medicaid OPRA programsDesired Skills:Forensic Board CertificationYour privacy is important to us.
