NOW HIRING!!*For immediate consideration please call our office 713-680-9898*DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated Entry-Level HVAC Assembly Technician to join a growing commercial/industrial team. This is not a basic "bolt-it-together" position, you will be responsible for the full layout, piping, and wiring of specialized HVAC equipment from start to finish.In this role, you will work directly from blueprints and schematics to mount motors and mechanical components, route and secure piping, run and terminate wiring, and solder refrigerant lines. You'll be hands-on throughout the entire build process, taking ownership from initial layout to final assembly.The ideal candidate has foundational experience with piping systems, cable routing, equipment mounting, and basic wiring in commercial or industrial environments. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced production or shop setting are essential. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills within large-scale HVAC assembly and industrial mechanical systems.Qualifications:Layout equipment on skids and mount/align motors and bearingsRoute and install refrigerant piping, instrument air piping, and perform all required solderingRoute and install electrical cabling and conduits according to job ordersRead and interpret engineering drawings and product schematics to ensure every build meets specificationsReassemble all types of equipment after the coating process is completeOperate a forklift to safely move equipment and supplies around the shopCoordinate with the Engineering team and Shop Supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve issuesComplete assigned tasks within the bid hours with little to no reworkPartner with a Lead Mechanic or Supervisor during your initial onboarding to learn company-specific standardsRequirements:Valid driver's licenseAt least 3 years of HVAC assembly experience, specifically with refrigerant piping, soldering, and electrical circuitsPossession of a personal basic mechanic tool set, including wrenches, drills, and crimpersAbility to operate a forklift and communicate clearly with the team in EnglishStrong logical planning skills and the ability to work productively in a team environmentHigh School Diploma or GED preferredEPA Certification is a plusCandidates already registered with us, please send an updated resume to interviews@lpcpersonnel.com and reference the job title.
