Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $22.00/hr | Itasca, IL
3:30 PM – 1:30 AM | $23.00/hr | Itasca, IL
The Filler is primarily a production and material-handling role focused on getting product into the correct containers and preparing it for shipment/storage.
*Material Handler /Filler Requirements *
* Must have 2+ years of experience operating a forklift
* Must have prior experience with production
* Must be okay working in a hot environment
* Must have basic math skills
*As a Material Handler /Filler, your responsibilities will include:*
* Fills containers with product using filling equipment.
* Weighs and mixes materials according to production requirements.
* Operates a forklift to move materials, drums, totes, and finished products.
* Checks products and quantities to ensure everything is correct.
* Labels containers after they are filled.
* Takes samples to QC for approval.
* Moves approved product to the correct location.
* Completes production paperwork and reports discrepancies.
* Cleans the production area and assists with general maintenance.
* Helps with inventory counts.
