Lead Software Engineer

Position: Lead Software EngineerLocation: Los Angeles, CA (Initially remotely) Duration: Long Term**Open only for the candidates who currently reside in Los Angeles, CA or Nearby Location**Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship **Key Responsibilities:Lead development of backend services and APIs to support platform operations including release engineering, DevOps pipelines, and system integrationCollaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Security, and Infrastructure to ensure seamless deployment and performance of serviceLead technical initiatives to improve CI/CD workflows, observability, and platform reliabilitImplement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure SLA adherence and rapid incident responsMentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices across the domainPartner with business stakeholders to translate platform requirements into scalable technical solutionTechnical Qualification7+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a technical lead roBachelors degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experienceProficiency in several languages/platforms/libraries such as C#, .NET, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Event Hubs, Service Bus Strong understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth2, and microservices architectureExperience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and KubernetesFamiliarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Argo CDKnowledge of container orchestration, release automation, and platform observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus)Experience implementing secure coding practices and compliance workflows in regulated environmentsStrong analytical, multitasking, and organizational skills to manage testing on multiple projects.Experience with Agile methodology and concepts using JIRA or similar Agile tooUnderstanding of secure development processes in regulated environments (e.g. PCI DSS, SOC
