Schedule Mon-Fri 9am-5pm Summary Center for Transitional Living LLC is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join our team in the US. Based in [City], this role is vital in supporting individuals on their recovery journey by providing personalized care and assistance with daily activities. Responsibilities Provide personal care and support to clients according to individualized recovery plans. Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Support clients during community outings and activities. Document care provided accurately following HIPAA guidelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive client support. Uphold dignity and respect for all clients at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in personal care or related healthcare fields. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards. Excellent communication skills and compassionate nature. Ability to assist with activities of daily living effectively. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in mental health recovery is preferred. CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire. Ability to lift heavy objects safely when assisting clients. Reliable transportation and flexibility in scheduling. Family member visits and will bring dog over; client requires female staff with a car. needs help with bathing in the shower and getting dressed in the morning and help to put on the proesthetic legs. uses legs to help her transfer from bed to the commode and back. needs help to pivot in and out of bed and goes in wheelchair to get from her living space to the bathroom and then has to get out to use the walker to get over and into shower and shower chair. gets dressed and then will have breakfast. Likes coffee, french toast, and eggs; has to take medicine with meal. LAUNDRY IS A BIG DEAL, ITS ALL HER CLOTHING BUT SEPARATED BY WHITES AND COLORS. She uses MEDICAL TRANSPORT TO/FROM APPOINTMENTS AND STAFF CAN RIDE WITH HER OR DRIVE SEPARATE AND MEET THERE AND THEN GO INTO THE APPOINTMENTS WITH HER. ONLY APPOINTMENT SHE WOULD GO ON HER OWN INSIDE IS MAYBE HER THERAPIST. Prefers no smoke smell on staff.
