Procurement SpecialistContract RoleHybrid (3 days a week in office (Miramar, FL)RedStream is searching for an experienced procurement specialist to focus on procurement request and workflow. This role will serve as a central coordinator to maintain visibility into request status, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure requests progress efficiently through the procurement lifecycle.The person in this role will need to be a proactive self-starter who takes ownership of their work and drives tasks forward effectively. The ideal candidate brings a can-do mindset, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to working across multiple teams and stakeholders. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, effectively balancing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness. Success in this position depends on strong follow-through, adaptability, and a willingness to step in and problem-solve to keep workflows moving efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Review incoming procurement requests submitted via intake toolsValidate completeness, accuracy, and required documentationConfirm appropriate routing of requests to appropriate teams based on category, complexity, and spend thresholdsReject or return incomplete submissions with clear guidance to requestorsMonitor intake queues and assignment logic to ensure proper distribution of requestsIdentify and correct misrouted or incomplete submissionsServe as a central point of coordination across category, sourcing, and purchasing teamsProactively follow up with stakeholders to drive timely actionTrack requests as they progress through intake, sourcing, and downstream workflowsFollow up with assigned teams to ensure timely action and adherence to SLAsEscalate delays, bottlenecks, or capacity constraints as neededProduce weekly reporting on request volume, status, cycle times, and backlogHighlight aging requests and those requiring accelerationProvide transparency into overall workflow performanceIdentify inefficiencies in intake, routing, or workflow processesRecommend and support improvements to enhance speed, accuracy, and user experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience in procurement, purchasing, or operations coordinationFamiliarity with ServiceNow and Coupa preferredStrong organizational and follow-up skillsAbility to manage multiple requests and stakeholders simultaneouslyProficiency in Excel or reporting toolsExperience with ticketing/intake systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Coupa, etc.)Strong communication skills with senior audiences
