The Smoke Shop Lead Cashier is responsible for processing credit card transactions, handling and redeeming coupons and monetary instruments, and providing superior guest services. The Smoke Shop Lead Cashier's performance is necessary for the smoke shop to reach its full potential to provide superior products and services for its guests.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Must be able to learn about all productsMust be able to meet sales quotasMust be able to handle additional duties as assigned by ManagementAlways smiles and greets guestsHandles banks and accurately balance banks at the end of each shiftProperly open and close facilityAssist in receiving the productMaintain productivity and adherence to CNSS's Policies and Procedures during shiftProfessionally train new team membersMust be aware of and maintain current knowledge of applicable laws and regulationsAssist in inventory counts of the facilityEnsure product rotationKeep work area neat and tidyMaintains awareness of Store activitiesSettle guest disputesFollows proper chain of command when resolving guest disputesComplete and attend all other duties or training as assigned by Store ManagerMust be able to maintain a strict level of confidentialityPHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:Team members are regularly exposed to the following: weather, exhaust fumes, secondhand smoke, dust, and chemicals associated with cleaning. Team members may be required to perform actions related to the following: hand-eye coordination, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, walking, driving, reaching with arms and hands, climbing, and balancing.
