Admin/Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies Enter financial transactions into internal databases Prepare accounts payable for weekly check runs Maintain financial records Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed Review and file payroll documents Assist in preparing ad hoc reports Assist with answering phones and providing customer service Other administrative duties as assigned Skills Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures Familiarity with finance regulations Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) Organization skills and attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field, and/or relevant coursework/experience preferred Job Type: Part-time Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour Physical Setting: Office Education: Associate (Preferred) Experience: Accounting: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
