Purpose of Position: The Human Resources Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the execution of HR strategies, programs, and processes that drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. This position partners closely with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver value-added HR services across key functional areas, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and workforce planning. The ideal candidate is a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who demonstrates strong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complex employee and organizational matters with discretion and professionalism. Compliance with employment laws and internal policies is essential in this role. You will monitor adherence to regulations to ensure a fair workplace. Additionally, you will help cultivate a positive workplace culture by organizing team-building activities and implementing programs that support work-life balance. The Human Resources Generalist is key to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment that empowers employees and aligns their efforts with our company's mission. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & OnboardingSupport full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer facilitationPartner with hiring managers to ensure alignment on talent needs and workforce planning strategiesLead onboarding processes to ensure a seamless and engaging new hire experience Employee Relations & EngagementServe as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and workplace concernsAssist in resolving employee relations matters, conducting investigations as needed, and recommending appropriate actionsSupport engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture Performance Management & DevelopmentFacilitate performance review cycles, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback processesPartner with leadership to identify development opportunities and support employee growth initiativesAssist in implementing training and development programs aligned with organizational goals HR Compliance & AdministrationEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsMaintain accurate employee records and HRIS data integritySupport audits, reporting, and documentation requirements Compensation & BenefitsAssist with benefits administration, including employee enrollment, changes, and issue resolutionSupport compensation benchmarking and job evaluation processesRespond to employee inquiries related to pay, benefits, and policies Operational ExcellenceContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including HR process optimization and policy developmentSupport HR projects and strategic initiatives aligned with organizational prioritiesGenerate HR metrics and reports to inform data-driven decision-makingPerforms other duties as assigned Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required2-5 years of progressive HR experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong understanding of HR principles, employment law, and best practicesDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionExcellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skillsProficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday) and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Communication and Interpersonal SkillsStrong written and verbal communication abilities, including drafting clear and concise correspondence and reports.Effective interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across teams and engage with employees at all levels.Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities with a focus on confidentiality and professionalismStrong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cleveland, OH is $50,000 to $62,000 annually. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc. EOE, Including Vet/Disability
