We help our clients make more impact, more money and grow beyond their wildest dreams.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time hybrid role as a Social Media Manager - Contract Role at Small Batch Social Co. located in Birmingham, MI. The majority of work WILL be WFH, though availability for metro Detroit and other travel is required on a monthly / quarterly basis. MUST be based in the metro Detroit area. As an Account Manager or Junior Account Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing social media strategies, managing social media accounts (all content design in Canva, development, and execution), copywriting, video (Reels/TikTok) editing, analyzing performance data and being proactive and solution-focused about the ever-evolving mediums, staying up-to-date with social media trends and have a creative, proactive approach to client content.You will also be the go-to client liaison- you will lead all emails, calls, meetings, etc. You must possess the confidence, people skills, sense of urgency, and problem-solving that come with working with clients and have experience doing such. You will lead in person content days at client places of business - you must storyboard and execute plans for shooting Reels and b-roll content and be skilled and adept and managing teams of clients (many of which have NO clue what's going on or how to use social media!). You are a true leader, confident and excited about the work you're doing, even when clients lack this feeling. You are THE hype person that takes away any anxiety or fear about SHOWING UP online. QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven experience managing social media accounts - must send links to accounts managed Strong knowledge of social media platforms and analytics tools - Later is great but others are acceptableCreativity and ability to generate engaging content - HIGH-QUALITY Canva design skills as well as TikTok and video editing skills (CapCut and more extensive editing experience required)Experience with social media advertising is a plus (BONUS!!!!)Ability to work independently and as part of a team -- we are close-knit and work remotely, so we do our best to be the dreamiest team and get together for client work and help where things are needed.
