Construction Accounting Manager
We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team! You will perform accounting, administrative, and clerical functions in order to drive company success. This position is in office M-F 8:00AM-4:30PM, with a break for lunch. This position receives 2 weeks of PTO per year, on an accrual basis. This position is eligible for paid holidays. All benefits start after a 90 day introductory period. Responsibilities: • Invoicing and managing accounts receivable • Managing accounts payable • Preparation of bank reconciliations • Preparation of monthly closing and financial reporting • Managing fixed asset accounting • Maintaining necessary business licenses • Completing projects as requested • Backup to answering inbound telephone calls • Backup to schedule appointments • Performing all other office tasks as requested Qualifications: • Previous experience in construction environment • At least 5 years of experience in accounting • Strong attention to detail • Strong organizational skills • Ability to prioritize and multitask • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Advanced Skill in MS Office • Previous experience with AIA documents is a plus • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred For more details about our company, please view our website at palmettoenvironmentalsolutions.com.
