Medical Laboratory Scientist

Serves as a technical resource for lesser credentialed staff and assist in training new or lesser credentialed staff. Responsible to troubleshoot and address instrument issues and recognize need for service. Responsible to use critical thinking and clinical knowledge to assess questionable results and correlate with clinical information to determine accuracy. Job RequirementsEducationRequired: Bachelor's Degree must be obtained within 90 days OR High School Diploma or equivalent AND Grandfathered status under CLIA RegulationsPreferred: Completion of a medical technology programExperienceN/ASkillsStrong analytical/problem solving skills.Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management.
