Embedded Systems Engineer

Would you like to participate in the end-to-end development of intelligent payloads for nano-satellites?Requirements analysis and definition, translating concepts into complete embedded hardware designs from architecture through working hardwareDesign, analysis, documentation, verification, and test of digital and mixed-signal electronics hardware for aerospace applications including command and control, data acquisition, signal processing, and communicationsSchematic capture, PCB layout, and delivery of printed circuit boards, including component selection and design-for-manufacturabilityBoard bring-up, characterization, and debugging using lab test instrumentationCollaboration with software, systems and mechanical teams to define hardware/software interfacesDegree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalentSolid electronics hardware design skills with hands-on experience in verification and validation of designsStrong working knowledge of hardware interfaces and standard protocols such as Ethernet, Serial, CAN, SPI and I2CExperience with mixed-signal design (analog and digital), including signal integrity and power considerationsProficiency with PCB design software (Eagle, KiCad, or equivalent)Hands-on experience with lab test instruments for electronics test and debuggingIndependent English speakerExperience with Eagle or KiCad specificallyExperience with HDLs (Verilog/VHDL) and FPGA design, simulation, and tools (e.g., Xilinx), including synchronous design and worst-case timing analysisFamiliarity with clock routing and managementCompetence in SMD soldering for prototyping and reworkFamiliarity in low level programming and driver developing in C/C++Familiarity in UNIX systems and development scripts (e.g. bash/python)Familiarity in toolchain configuration and Docket container developmentFamiliarity in git version control
