We have an excellent company culture that encourages growth and personal/professional development.Position OverviewThe Controller will oversee the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, and strategic financial planning. This role involves managing a team of finance professionals and collaborating with other departments to support the organization's financial goals and objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team to develop budgets and forecasts.Prepare and present monthly financial reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards by maintaining accurate financial records.Oversee payroll and benefits administration to ensure timely and accurate compensation for employees.Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and tax compliance.Utilize financial management software such as Yardi and AppFolio for reporting and operational efficiency.Provide strategic insights based on financial analysis to support decision-making in real estate and construction projects.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.Experience in real estate or construction finance is highly desirable.Proficient in financial management software, particularly Yardi and AppFolio.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.BenefitsMedicalDentalVision401k w/ matchPTO
