Rudick Construction Group is committed to delivering high-quality outcomes, even on active construction sites requiring complex coordination.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Estimator, based in the Lafayette, Louisiana Metropolitan Area. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for creating accurate cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and manufacturing projects. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing project plans, preparing detailed quantity takeoffs, collaborating with project managers, communicating with subcontractors and vendors, and ensuring that bids are competitive yet profitable. The Senior Estimator will also contribute to value engineering, risk assessments, and preparing project proposals.QualificationsProficiency in construction cost estimation, quantity takeoffs, and bid preparationExperience working with construction software and tools, such as Procore, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Destini by Beck Tech or similar platformsStrong analytical skills for cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessmentExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work with project teams and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and clientsFamiliarity with construction methods, materials, and project delivery systems such as design-build and CMARBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred10+ years of experience in estimating within commercial, industrial, or manufacturing sectorsProven ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy
