Java Backend Developer

Job Title: Java Backend EngineerLocation: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite)Duration: 6+ Months ContractWe are seeking an experienced Java Backend Engineer with a strong background in Java, Spring, and Oracle to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of total IT experience, with a minimum of 7 years in Java backend development. The role requires exceptional problem-solving abilities, architectural knowledge, and a deep understanding of design principles. This position will involve working in a hybrid environment, requiring onsite presence in our Sunnyvale office two days per week.Coding: Develop and maintain high-quality code using Java and related technologies.Designing: Participate in architectural design and contribute to backend solution development.Problem Solving: Address and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring robust system performance.Production Support: Provide ongoing support for production environments, including bug fixes and system enhancements.Project Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within scope and timelines.Anti-Fraud Solutions: Develop and maintain advanced anti-fraud solutions to safeguard our systems.Required Skills:Java: Extensive experience in Java programming.Spring Framework: Strong expertise with Spring, including Spring Boot and other Spring modules.SQL/NoSQL Databases: Hands-on experience with SQL databases (e.g., Oracle) and/or NoSQL databases.REST: Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful web services.Hibernate: Proficient in Hibernate ORM for efficient data persistence.Preferred Skills:Cassandra: Experience with Cassandra database.Solr: Knowledge of Solr for implementing search functionalities.Candidate Qualifications:Experience: At least 10 years of IT experience with 7+ years specifically in Java backend development.Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.Architectural Knowledge: In-depth understanding of software architecture and design patterns.People Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Location Requirement:Onsite Work: The candidate must be available to work onsite in Sunnyvale, CA, for 2 days each week.If you meet these qualifications and are ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.
