The facility features a dynamic orthopedics team committed to delivering exceptional patient care.Opportunity:Physician - Surgery - OrthopedicJob Details:• Provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care to patients across the continuum including evaluation, treatment, surgery, and follow-up• Diagnose and evaluate orthopedic conditions through physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, MRI, and CT scans• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing both surgical and non-surgical approaches• Perform a wide range of orthopedic surgical procedures including joint replacements, fracture repairs, arthroscopy, and other orthopedic interventions• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care ensuring patient safety, recovery, and optimal outcomes• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including primary care providers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists• Participate in rotating on-call coverage as part of a full-time orthopedic service• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient medical records including documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and surgical outcomes• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans• Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery and apply evidence-based practices to clinical decision-making• Participate in continuing medical education, professional development activities, conferences, and workshops• Must be board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery• Valid Vermont medical license required• Clean malpractice history required• CPR certification and DEA registration required prior to start• Not open to visa candidates or locum positions• Must live within 1 hour commute of facilityCompensation:Employed salary with benefits.
