Senior Juniper Mist Engineer
Our client is a trusted IT infrastructure and managed services provider serving enterprise customers worldwide. Based out of Naperville, Illinois they are looking to hire a Senior Juniper Mist Engineer on a Contract basis.Contract Duration: 4 Month Contract (Potential for extension or conversion)Required Skills & ExperienceSenior Network Engineer with 8–10+ years of overall networking experience and at least 3–5 years of hands‑on Juniper Mist (or closely related cloud‑managed WLAN) in medium‑to‑large enterprise or service provider environments.This is a senior, hands‑on role, not a junior operations position—the engineer must be able to work with minimal direction and interface effectively with Comcast engineering and architecture teams. The ideal candidate has led full lifecycle Mist deployments and POCs, including org/site design, SSID and policy configuration, 802.1X/RADIUS integration, guest access, RF design, and ongoing optimization using Marvis/Mist AI. Candidate should be comfortable working onsite in a lab, executing trials and proof‑of‑concepts, and producing clear technical documentation, test plans, and runbooks.
