Civil Drafting Manager

This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and innovation to support high quality project delivery and continuous improvement across our civil engineering teams.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the preparation and quality of civil engineering drawings and models using Civil 3DMaintaining and evolving company-wide Civil 3D drafting standardsCreate and manage custom tools, templates, and workflows to improve efficiency and consistencyResearch and evaluate emerging software and technologies to enhance team capabilitiesServe as a technical expert and problem solver for complex drafting and design challengesTrain, mentor, and support civil engineers and drafting technicians in Civil 3D best practices and company standardsCollaborate with engineering teams to optimize workflows and ensure project requirements are met.Qualifications:+5 years of experience using Civil 3D softwareStrong proficiency in Civil 3D and civil drafting workflows for general civil engineering projects (land surveys, site plans, grading plans, utility alignments and profiles, etc.)Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and standard practicesExperience developing CAD standards, templates, and automation toolsProven ability to lead, train, and support technical teamsExcellent problem solving and communication skillsAnnual Salary: $90,000-105,000/yearBonuses are awarded at discretion, not guaranteed.Why KL&A?Medical: ~80% of Family policy paid by KL&A.Family Dental and Vision paid 100% by KL&A.Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance.401(k) with company match.Employee-owned.Vacation + sick leave.Paid Parental Leave.Paid Holidays.Build your career at KL&A, Apply on our website: www.klaa.com/careersWe are accepting applications on an ongoing basis.
