Description 1:1 Personal Care Assistant Job type Sunday - Thursday (10pm - 6am) Duration may will be anywhere from 2 - 12 weeks Overview Providing 1:1 care in a loving home for a paraplegic woman that has 4 cats and 2 dogs Description We are looking for a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance for a woman that is a paraplegic. Experience in lifting, transferring, showering, toileting and bowel program in patient’s homes in accordance with an established care plan. Why PIHC? Bowel program Transferring assistance. Perform domestic and household tasks Assist with client’s personal care activities Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support Skills and Requirements Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards Assisting with showering Bowel program experience Proficiency in English Caring and compassionate personality Must be able to lift, turn, position, and transfer Helpful Skills Proven working experience as Personal Care Assistant Health care administration skills Benefits: Base rate: $17-$17.50 per hour - Additional previous PCA experience for MA Programs ranges from 4.05% - 12.69% (Tier Scale) - Additional 7.5% bonus when online Enhanced Training Courses have been completed. $250 bonus with the completion of this position while maintaining 90% attendance. Flexible Schedule Competitive Pay 401k ESST - Sick & Safe Time - 1 hour accumulation every 30 hours (max 48/year, max accumulation 80 hours).
