Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Each role is located within a single school and classroom for the full school year.Qualifications:Valid Missouri Special Education Teacher certification requiredExperience in resource room and/or co-teaching models is highly desirableStrong ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Excellent communication skills to collaborate with general education faculty, families, and support staffCommitment to creating an inclusive classroom culture that celebrates students' differencesFlexibility and resourcefulness to adapt instruction to varied learning styles and needsResponsibilities:Deliver individualized and small group instruction to students with diverse learning needsDevelop and maintain IEPs in collaboration with families and professionalsIncorporate evidence-based strategies to engage learners and foster growthTrack student progress, adjust approaches, and provide timely feedbackWork cooperatively with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and general education teachersParticipate actively in parent meetings, staff development, and team initiativesThis full-time contract role is a chance to shape young lives and make a lasting difference.
