Job Title: Tool & Die Maker - 1st ShiftReports To: Tooling EngineerDepartment: Tool Room - ProductionLocation: Deerfield Manufacturing, Mason OhioGeneral Function: Build, repair and maintain dies, tooling and fixtures to support production.Job DutiesBuild and repair tooling using machine shop tools and measuring instruments.Work from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies and jigs.Set up and operate all tool room equipment.Assist production with problem solving on tooling issues.Safety conscious to include proper use of P.P.EOther duties as assigned by management. Working Conditions: Plant environment; working in and out of presses with tooling.Physical Component(s): Standing and walking up to 100% of work time. Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs to include pushing, pulling, bending, reaching and some stooping. Education/Experience: 4 years plus proven experience working as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing environment, along with experience on stamping dies. Journeyman’s Tool and Die Maker’s card or certification a plus. Other RequirementsWilling to work any and all overtime as required.Excellent attendance.#iceindprem
