Take the next step in your career with us!Position Specific DescriptionLead site facilities and services as we restart Duane Arnold Energy Center, a groundbreaking effort to return a decommissioned nuclear plant to service. As the Facilities Maintenance Section Supervisor, you will establish and oversee the support services that enable restart readiness and daily plant operations, from the ground up. You’ll build structure, discipline, and accountability across a broad portfolio of site services including grounds and lawn maintenance, snow and ice removal, janitorial services, waste management, roadways and parking areas, pest control, and general building upkeep, ensuring the site is safe, compliant, inspection‑ready, and operationally reliable.Your ability to manage vendors, set clear performance expectations, and maintain a strong field presence will be essential as we re‑establish service programs, formalize scopes of work, and transition from a decommissioned site to an operating nuclear facility. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of the day‑to‑day site conditions that directly support plant restart, applying facilities leadership and operational discipline to a historic project that will help define the future of nuclear energy and power Iowa’s clean energy transition.Job OverviewThis position ensures timely completion of plant equipment maintenance work. Employees in this role oversee predictive and preventive maintenance activities to ensure continuity of operations.
