Press OperatorDanville Metal Stamping Co., Inc. is hiring for entry-level Press Operators. Press Operators are responsible for the set up and operation of a variety of hydraulic and mechanical presses to fabricate aerospace engine parts.Essential functions of the position include:Operation of hydraulic and mechanical pressesSet up presses by changing out tooling and diesInspect parts and materials during the production processBasic computer skillsRead and interpret blueprints and customer specificationsUse calipers, micrometers, height stands, and indicatorsDaily housekeeping/6S dutiesAll other duties as assignedQualifications for the position include:Demonstrated ability with basic math skillsPrior experience with hydraulic or mechanical presses is preferredDemonstrated mechanical abilityStrong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills is preferredWhile performing duties of the job, the employee is required with or without accommodation to:Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs.Frequently required to stand and walk and occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlFrequently required to use hands to handle, feel, and reachCompensation and Benefits Summary:Pay Range: $16.00-$17.00/hourComprehensive Benefits package that includes:Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, and Vision InsuranceCompany Paid Life Insurance401K Plan with Company MatchPaid HolidaysPaid Time Off$.80/hr. increase after successful completion of 90 days of employmentThe above listed pay range and benefits are a good faith estimate by Danville Metal Stamping Co., Inc. for the position at the time of posting.
