Inventory Management Support B

Job Description Job Summary:The Inventory Management Support B is responsible for supporting inventory operations including receiving, stocking, kitting, issuing, and tracking materials. This role ensures accurate inventory control, compliance with company and government regulations, and efficient material flow to support manufacturing and program requirements.Key Responsibilities:Receive, count, sort, and verify incoming materials against purchase ordersProcess receipts into company inventory systemsPackage, label, and stock materials in appropriate storage locationsBuild kits and issue parts to support production and program needsTransport materials from stockroom to production areasPerform cycle counts, periodic inventory checks, and reconcile discrepanciesMaintain accurate inventory records to ensure full accountabilityEnsure compliance with 5S standards and maintain clean work areasFollow OSHA and company safety standards and report hazardsSupport additional supply chain functions such as shipping, inspections, and HAZMAT handling as neededComplete documentation and data entry accuratelyRequired Skills:Strong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyAbility to read, write, and interpret policies, procedures, and reportsGood communication and teamwork skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systemsMinimum 4 years of experience in inventory control, stockroom, or material handling requiredStrong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality standardsAbility to handle inventory documentation and data accuratelyPreferred Skills:Experience with Costpoint and/or SAP Ariba systemsFamiliarity with quality management systems (ISO/AS standards)Experience working with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality)Knowledge of inventory control and material handling processesEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredEducation: High SchoolCompany DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
