Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a CDL A Truck Driver, located in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting vehicle inspections, planning and following routes, loading and unloading cargo as needed, and maintaining records of deliveries. The role requires clear communication with dispatch and providing excellent customer service during deliveries. Qualifications Valid CDL A driver’s license with a clean driving record and relevant driving experienceKnowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and transportation best practicesSkills in route planning, navigation, and time managementAbility to inspect vehicles, report maintenance needs, and perform basic troubleshootingStrong communication and customer service skillsPhysical ability to load/unload cargo if necessaryFamiliarity with logkeeping and record maintenanceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in the logistics or freight industry is an advantage
