We have a 1-year contract available in the Eastern Time Zone, offering a competitive W-2 rate of up to $60/hour.Job DescriptionIn this role within the Enforcement Section of the DMV Systems Unit, you will provide software support to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol Motor Carrier Enforcement Section (NCSHP MCES) and the DMV License and Theft Bureau. You will work on the Fuel Tax Compliance System (FuelTaCS) and the License and Theft Bureau Motor Vehicle Inspection Law Enforcement System (MILES), supporting the enforcement of NC General Statues and ensuring vehicle safety on North Carolina roads.Responsibilities Supporting the Fuel Tax Compliance System (FuelTaCS) for NCSHP MCES personnel Assisting with the License and Theft Bureau Motor Vehicle Inspection Law Enforcement System (MILES) Providing software support for various DMV applications such as LECMS, Scrap Yard System, Trip Permits, CVIEW, and Notice Storage & TheftRequirements Thorough knowledge of software development principles and techniques Experience in .Net Development Frameworks, Programming Languages (C#, C++), Databases, and Version control Ability to lead projects effectively and support production applications Strong oral and written communication skillsJoin our team and contribute to ensuring vehicle safety and compliance in North Carolina.
