Social Media Assistant / Personal Assistant

We are looking for a sharp, creative, organized Social Media Assistant based in Los Angeles to support an actor, musician, and content creator across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.This role is ideal for someone who understands social media culture, has a strong sense of branding, knows what type of content performs well online, and can help grow an artist’s presence organically. The right person should be creative, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a small team of editors, assistants, and social media managers.ResponsibilitiesThe Social Media Assistant will help manage and support the client’s social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and YouTube Shorts.Responsibilities include:Posting content on behalf of the client across social platformsWriting captions that align with the client’s brand, voice, music, acting career, and current projectsScheduling posts and helping maintain a consistent posting calendarTracking analytics, audience growth, engagement, and overall performanceHelping identify what types of content are working and suggesting ways to improve reachAssisting with YouTube SEO, including titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and optimization strategiesLearning and applying best practices to help videos perform better organicallyLight image editing for posts, thumbnails, stories, and social graphicsOrganizing social media assets, captions, links, and posting schedulesCommunicating with editors, assistants, and other social media page managers on the teamHelping coordinate content deadlines and making sure assets are delivered on timeAssisting with meeting scheduling, reminders, calendars, and basic personal assistant duties when neededKeeping track of team updates and helping make sure nothing falls through the cracksIdeal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:Lives in Los AngelesUnderstands Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and YouTube ShortsHas a good eye for content, branding, captions, and presentationUnderstands or is willing to learn YouTube SEO and video optimizationHas basic image editing skills using tools like Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, Lightroom, or similar appsIs organized and able to manage posting schedules, calendars, and analyticsHas strong communication skills and can coordinate with multiple people on a teamUnderstands how to grow a musician, actor, or entertainment-based brand organicallyCan work independently but also take direction wellIs reliable, detail-oriented, and proactiveHas a strong sense of what feels authentic, cool, and engaging onlineBonus SkillsNot required, but a plus:Experience working with musicians, actors, influencers, or entertainment brandsExperience with YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, TikTok analytics, or scheduling platformsBasic video editing skillsExperience creating thumbnails or social graphicsKnowledge of music marketing, film/TV promotion, or fan engagement strategiesFamiliarity with influencer outreach or community managementAbout the BrandThe client is an actor, musician, and producer building a brand across music, film/TV, and a travel music docu-series. The content blends music, storytelling, entertainment, travel, culture, and behind-the-scenes access.
