Summary: Looking for a general technician with iTest, ADAPT, Horiba emission bench experience, and general automotive mechanical experience. MUST be able to work OT and one weekend day. Eventually could work 7 days 12 hours.Looking for a durability dynamometer technician with automotive mechanical experience to setup and operate an engine durability test cell. Description: The Dynamometer Technician is responsible for engine set-up, test instrumentation, monitoring the test while engine running, performing regular engine health checks, and removal of the engine after test completion. QualificationsMinimum high school diploma or equivalent2+ years of automotive mechanical related experienceMust have excellent engine mechanical and electrical diagnostic skillsMust be proficient with computers, including MS Office applications and dynamometer controls operation experienceMust have own tools and a rolling tool boxMust be willing to learn and able to work overtime and weekends as neededMust be flexible, eager to learn and have a strong attention to detailMust have excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and customer service skills Preferred SkillsAssociate degree or technical training in an automotive related fieldEngine teardown/build skills and able to follow an engine assembly manualPowertrain calibration, diagnostics or controls experienceAble to perform simple fabricationsExperience or training with AVL PUMA 2.0 and/or A & D iTest dynamometer controls
