Associate Attorney

Musick Peeler is seeking a motivated attorney with 1 - 3 years of experience to join our Labor and Employment Dept. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in building a career in labor and employment law, working alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative and supportive environment.Responsibilities will include assisting with litigation matters, such as drafting pleadings, discovery, and motion practice, conducting legal research and preparing memoranda, supporting senior attorneys in all aspects of case preparation and client interaction. The position offers the benefit of close mentorship from senior attorneys and regular collaboration on active cases, providing valuable exposure to complex matters and a strong learning environment that supports professional growth.Qualified candidates will have 1 - 3 years of relevant legal experience, with labor and employment experience preferred but not required, excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. They must possess a strong academic background, California Bar membership in good standing is required.The firm offers competitive compensation and a full benefits package including eligibility for a year-end discretionary bonus. The yearly salary range is between $135,000–$160,000 depending on experience.
