This role will play a key part in developing reporting packages, analyzing financial performance, and delivering actionable insights to leadership teams.The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel expertise, and experience working with large data sets and reporting tools such as Power BI. This individual should be highly detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain recurring financial reports, dashboards, and management reporting packages for senior leadership.Analyze monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date financial results, identifying key trends, variances, and business drivers.Partner with finance, accounting, operations, and commercial teams to support reporting and business analysis needs.Build, maintain, and improve complex Excel models used for forecasting, budgeting, KPI tracking, and operational analysis.Support month-end and quarter-end close processes through reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.Assist in preparing executive-level presentations and financial summaries for leadership meetings.Develop and enhance reporting automation and visualization capabilities using Power BI and other reporting tools.Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems and reporting platforms.Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automate manual processes, and standardize reporting methodologies.Support ad hoc analysis, special projects, and business initiatives as needed.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, reporting, or corporate finance.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including:Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence/reporting tools preferred.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and organize large amounts of financial and operational data.Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Experience working with ERP systems and large data sets is preferred.Manufacturing industry experience or exposure to operational finance and cost analysis is a plus.Sherpa BenefitsSherpa offers benefits to contract employees who meet the following criteria:Must be a full-time employee (30+ weekly hours/+130 hours per month) to be eligibleMedical plan offered is BCBSNC Blue Options PPOPremiums will be pre-taxedSherpa pays a portion of the Employee only premium for medical90 day waiting period from date of hireMedical, Dental, and Vision plansAdditional Job DetailsWorkplace Policy:Seniority Level: AssociateLinked In Poster:About Our ProcessWe will notify you if you are selected as a candidate for this role.
