We are currently seeking a Senior Developer to join our Advisory Flexibility team, part of our Technology business unit. This role is crucial in designing, building, and maintaining sustainable and scalable solutions to deliver high-quality software products and processes. As a Senior Developer, you will also lead special projects, providing technical leadership to other team members and enhancing our offerings in terms of quality, scope, and scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, tune, and implement n-tiered web-based applications.
Collaborate with Development teams, Enterprise Architecture, and Support teams to design, develop, test, and maintain various platforms and their integration with other systems.
Assess opportunities for application and process improvements and prepare documentation outlining platform roadmaps.
Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems.
Work with QA and DevOps teams to adopt CI/CD toolchains and develop automation solutions.
Regularly communicate with technical and non-technical groups to provide product/project support.
Design and develop core services and components with expertise in service-oriented architecture.
Apply design patterns and coding best practices.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience with .NET/C# or related Microsoft tech stack.
3+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
2+ years of experience with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
1+ year of hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
3+ years of in-depth, hands-on experience with SQL Server.
Core Competencies:
Proficiency in using design patterns and implementing them with C#.
Experience in designing and developing microservices using the CQRS pattern.
Familiarity with AWS EKS and other related AWS services.
Hands-on experience with Git and related workflows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
Comfortable asking questions, with a natural curiosity and drive to learn.
Preferences:
Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka is a plus.
Experience with application architecture.
Experience working with caching solutions like Elasticache Redis.
Familiarity with source control tools like TFS, Git, etc.
Experience with Entity Framework or other .NET ORM tools.
