Supervisory Project Historian

Strataegius LLC is building a proposed team for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Historical Support Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). *Location:* U.S.-based remote/hybrid. Candidates must be available for assignments in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and for travel to Federal archives, libraries, or other U.S. repositories when required. *Compensation:* *$60–$80 per hour*, depending on qualifications, experience, scope, and level of effort. This is a project-based consulting opportunity; travel for authorized assignments will be addressed separately. *Required Qualifications* * PhD in History or a related field * 5+ years researching and writing U.S. military or USACE history * 2+ years leading historical research and writing projects * Experience conducting research at Federal archives or repositories * Publications or comparable analytical historical writing * Ability to provide three representative writing samples This is a *contingent consulting opportunity*, subject to BPA award and future task-order funding.
