At RCG, we deliver technology and mission support services that help government agencies succeed.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Senior IT Project Manager (Part-Time, 1099) to support a federal government customer.This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional with a strong background in Agile project management and application development who can lead multiple projects simultaneously while working in a primarily remote environment.What You’ll DoServe as the lead Project Manager supporting multiple application development and operations & maintenance (O&M) effortsDevelop and manage Agile-based project management solutions and frameworksCreate and maintain project plans, schedules, and cost estimates; manage project budgetsFacilitate stakeholder meetings, gather requirements, and document outcomesEnsure meeting minutes and requirements are captured and maintained for all engagementsCommunicate project status, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders and federal IT leadershipOversee quality delivery to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budgetManage change control processes and project documentation including design, implementation, testing, and user guidesCoordinate and manage multiple contractor resources across projectsProvide detailed timekeeping and reporting for billable hours as requiredCollaborate with customer stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies and proceduresLead weekly project management meetings and provide regular progress updatesWhat You’ll Bring8–10+ years of experience managing multiple IT application development and O&M projectsStrong understanding of software development principles and lifecycles, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical teamsExpert knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practicesProven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication, documentation, and leadership skillsWork EnvironmentApproximately 90% remote workUp to 10% may include occasional in-person meetings, training, or team collaborationMust comply with federal remote access and IT security requirementsPlease NoteThis is a part-time 1099 contractor role you must be local to the DMV areaCandidates must be able to pass a government security background check to obtain a Public Trust clearanceThe successful candidate will receive a contingent offer based on the outcome of a government background check.
