Maintenance Technician I will maintains production and facility equipment according to company standards of safety and quality. Additionally, Maintenance Technician I supports an environment of continuous improvement by making and implementing suggestions.Areas of FocusMaintenance Technician I will follow the preventive maintenance schedule in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's recommendation and industry accepted best practices for all plant equipment. Maintenance Technician I will comply with all safety requirements and proper use of PPE as well as understand and follow the Quality policy and Lean initiatives.ResponsibilitiesMaintain equipment while performing basic mechanical and electrical repair workNotice and report any abnormal conditions/failuresPerform machinery and basic equipment examinations and report to supervisors.Perform machine shop functions (sheet metal, steel layout and welding)Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipmentFollow company policy, processes and action plans as it relates to all plant machineryMust follow and understand production daily goals and requirementsPerform general housekeepingUnderstand and follow Work InstructionsDetect and report defective materialsDispose of contaminated work materials in appropriate containersFollow and maintain good housekeeping and hygiene practicesBasic QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent6 months 1-year experience in an industrial environment working within a maintenance (electrical) department as a Maintenance Electrician/ TechnicianGood writing and communication skillsBasic understanding of MS Office (Word / Excel)Forklift CertifiedSalary Range: $28.00-$31.00/hrOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
