Position: CHS Travel:Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology (R)Position InformationThe Nuclear Medicine Technologist is a graduate of an accredited program AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer or NMT or has Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) registry. The NMT is responsible for providing timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: administering a variety of nuclear isotopes for the purpose of scanning for and detecting pathology, regulating equipment used to scan, and prints, develops and organizes films.ASAP STARTSHIFT: MON-FRI - 7am to 3:30pm - CALL EVERYDAY AFTER REGULAR SHIFTRequirementsARRT OR NMTCBCurrent BLSRequired nuclear medicine skill setsMay float to CT if in skill setEMR- MED HOSTPATIENT RATIO- 1 nuc med modality- Average 4 exams per day
