Geology Manager

PURPOSEOur client is seeking a new Geology Manager. Reporting to the General Manager and as a key member of the Leadership Team, the Geology Manager will have accountability to develop, manage and execute the Mine Geology and Resource development work at their current & developing projects.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILIBIESPromote and enforce compliance with company safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, ensuring all employees and contractors work safely and in accordance with company policy.Lead exploration activities and manage geology/exploration teams across current & developing projectsDesign and execute discovery-focused exploration and drilling programs to expand resources, reserves, and growth opportunities, including planning, budgeting, logistics, reporting, and cost control.Implement best practices and oversee high-quality geological data collection, technical reporting, and statutory compliance to support project objectives and timelines.Coach, mentor, and supervise geologists, field technicians, contractors, and consultants while fostering strong stakeholder collaboration.Present exploration models, targets, and results to executives and senior technical staff, and support the development of operational procedures and reporting processes.SKILLS & ABILITIESProficient in standard office software, Leapfrog, and ArcGISStrong communication, analytical, and organizational skills with a results-driven approachProven ability to coach and develop employees while collaborating effectively with stakeholdersProactive problem-solver with sound judgment and the ability to anticipate operational challenges and provide constructive recommendationsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate, timely results in a fast-paced environmentQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s or Master’s degree qualification in Geology, Engineering, or related fieldTertiary qualifications in Geology with a minimum of 10 - 15 years of experiencePrevious experience in the Carlin trend – preferred
