The Portfolio Analyst will provide operational and investment support to IFA’s Wealth Advisors and work closely with the Senior Portfolio Manager to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and superior client service.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, enjoys tackling complex problems, and is eager to develop a strong foundation in the principles of passive investing and modern portfolio theory.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational & Investment SupportRespond to Wealth Advisor and Client Service Specialist inquiries promptly and accurately.Verify the accuracy of prior-day trades, ensuring all trade details are correct and compliant.Execute daily investment of client deposits and raise cash for monthly withdrawals according to client portfolio specifications.Complete assigned trading tasks in alignment with IFA’s investment policies and client objectives.Assist in portfolio monitoring, account setup, and investment of new client accounts.Reporting & ReconciliationReconcile data between custodians and internal systems.Run portfolio and performance reports as needed.Support operational efficiency through meticulous document filing and administrative organization.Skills & KnowledgeBasic understanding of financial markets, including mutual funds, equities, and fixed income.Strong administrative and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with financial software is a plus.Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and work collaboratively in a team setting.Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investment theory.Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).Preferred QualificationsInternship or prior experience in investment operations, trading, or financial analysis.Working knowledge of custodial platforms (e.g., Schwab and Fidelity) preferred but not mandatory.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salaryMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid vacation and holidays401(k) with company matchOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesYou May Be a Good Fit If…You are adaptable to a constantly changing environment.You embrace new challenges and enjoy solving complex problems.You are detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to excellence.
