Full Stack Engineer (AI Systems)

About the Company SupplyWhy.ai is a Vertical AI startup building a multi-agent system for industry-specific supply chain planning, beginning with the automotive industry. Our mission is to build multi-agent systems to orchestrate resilient, self-healing supply chains – moving beyond rules-based planning software and BI into real-time, adaptive decision-making systems that scale. We are tackling a “hair on fire” problem in underserved industries ripe for disruption, and this is translating into compelling go-to-market traction. About the role As an early engineer on the SupplyWhy team, you’ll be poised to make a significant impact on the future of the product and the team. You’ll contribute to both frontend and backend development, collaborating with other engineers and domain experts to develop and deploy enterprise-scale multi-agent systems. You’ll stay abreast of the latest advances in agentic systems and leverage best-in-class tooling and processes (including AI coding tools like Cursor) to ensure we’re continuously operating at the cutting edge. By joining on the ground floor, you’ll have the opportunity to partner closely with the founding team to shape the future of Supply Chain – a domain central to the global economy that has to-date been underserved by the tech industry.Must have: •Built agentic systems using LLMs •Engineered robust backend services and APIs •Developed prompt-driven systems using frameworks like LangChain •Optimized agent behavior via prompt engineering •4+ years of experience in software engineering •Experience working with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Mistral, etc.) •Familiarity with multi-agent systems, orchestration patterns, memory management, and function/tool calling •Experience leveraging AI coding tools (ex. Cursor) to optimize efficiency •Hunger to learn and make an impact – You know how to learn and are undaunted by quickly moving technology. You’re excited to push boundaries and stretch. •Collaborative problem-solving style – You have strong opinions weakly held. You tackle challenges with an “us against the problem” mindset. Nice to Have: •Experience building production-ready AI-native Enterprise software •Interest in or exposure to enterprise-scale operations (Supply chain planning, Manufacturing planning, etc)
