Construction Project Manager
Talint's client is an Arlington VA based custom home builder focused on new construction, large renovations, and lot acquisition. They are steadfast in their commitment to transforming their client’s unique vision into a truly high quality, custom home. Typically, their projects range in price from $2.5M to $4.5M and are located inside the beltway in Virginia.Our client is seeking a Project Manager to manage multiple custom home builds. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of construction management experience. Additionally, this person needs to be well organized, detailed oriented, and a self-motivated leader. We want someone who does not just want to manage a project but create a wonderful experience for the customers who will fondly remember and talk about the most important investment they have ever made.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant work experience;A minimum of four years of residential construction with a portion of it serving in a project management role managing multiple building projects;Ability to manage multiple projects in various stages at the same time;Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements;Experience reading and interpreting architectural drawings and site plans;Proficient in project management software;Excellent communication skills, must be fluent in English;Must be a critical thinker with outstanding planning and problem-solving skills.Why our client?Competitive compensation package including bonuses and car allowance;Fast-paced, exciting work environment, impressive projectsIncredible opportunities for advancement as they continue to grow.Responsibilities:Oversee the active construction of various residential projectsCoordinate with customer, architects, engineer, subcontractors and vendors to ensure project specifications are met;Ensure all work meets or exceeds quality standards and client expectations;Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment;Be available as a point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns;Conduct regular meetings to review project progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals;Adhere to contract documents;Help manage utility submittals and new utility installations;Responsible for portion of in the field inspections with site and building inspectors;Occasionally lift bags of concrete (80 pounds), sheets of plywood (50 pounds), and other various construction materials;Assist with project scheduling.
