The Static Data Analyst supports front-to-back trading and client workflows by ensuring accurate, timely, and complete security reference data across multiple asset classes. This role partners closely with Operations, Trading, Technology, and Data vendors to resolve data issues, meet service-level targets, and improve process controls through analysis and automation.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Set up new securities across multiple asset classes in back-end settlement systemsMaintain and update fixed income security attributes (e.g., coupon rates, ratings, factors, and call schedules)Meet service-level agreements (SLAs) for time-sensitive requests and production supportReconcile key security attributes; identify root causes and remediate discrepanciesResearch, validate, and resolve real-time data breaks using multiple internal and external data sources to minimize impact to trading and client workflowsServe as a subject matter expert (SME) and contribute to Static Data team initiatives and projectsExtract and analyze data to support regulatory responses and business inquiriesLead partnership with the Technology development Train to ensure deliverables meet agreed specifications and timelinesAnalyze operational processes to identify control gaps and opportunities for automation and standardizationMonitor and control workflow to maximize Wedbush Securities resources and train resources as neededPerform other tasks and duties as required and assignedExperience and SkillsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or an equivalent work experienceAdvanced MS Excel & SQL skillsWorking knowledge of fixed income and equity security attributesAbility to prioritize effectively and deliver high-quality output in a time-sensitive environmentExperience with Refinitiv Beta and/or FIS Phase3 is a plusExperience writing SQL queries is a plusExcellent time management, follow-through, and project deliveryExceptional written and verbal communication skillsWhat We OfferWedbush Securities (WS) aims to foster a culture of inclusion where all Colleagues are valued for their unique contributions to the firm provided equal opportunities to succeed.The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000 to $85,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance.
