This role works closely with the COO, Vice President of Maintenance, and cross-functional operations leaders to drive financial visibility, accountability, and performance across an asset-intensive, operational environment.This position blends hands-on FP&A, operational analytics, and strategic business partnership. The ideal candidate is comfortable diving into complex data, building actionable reporting, challenging assumptions, and helping operational leaders translate insight into disciplined execution and measurable financial impact.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary finance partner for the Maintenance & Repair organization, supporting leadership with financial insights, cost management, and execution prioritiesLead budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing performance management for M&R, identifying risks, opportunities, and operational drivers impacting resultsDevelop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting to provide clear visibility into spend trends, productivity, recovery opportunities, and site-level performancePartner with operations to support service truck deployment planning and market-level analysis, using spend intensity, work mix, customer trends, and geographic demand to inform resource allocation decisionsIdentify, quantify, and track chargeback and recovery opportunities; analyze missed recovery and margin leakage and support improved conversion of repair activity into billable recoverySupport site-level P&L reviews by analyzing financial and operating performance, identifying outliers, diagnosing root causes, and helping leadership establish actionable improvement plansPerform work order, maintenance, and asset-level analytics to identify repair trends, failure patterns, preventive maintenance opportunities, and repair-versus-replace decision driversAnalyze parts and outside vendor spend to identify savings opportunities, pricing inconsistencies, insourcing opportunities, and procurement leverage across markets and vendorsPartner with field and operations leaders to evaluate technician productivity, labor efficiency, throughput, capacity utilization, and staffing needsEstablish and maintain initiative tracking for key M&R workstreams, including ownership, milestones, expected savings or ROI, and actual performance versus planPrepare executive-ready analyses, presentations, and recommendations that translate data into decisions and measurable business outcomesRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysisProven ability to link financial results to operational driversExperience partnering cross-functionally and influencing without authorityAdvanced analytical skills working with large, complex datasetsExperience developing KPIs, dashboards, and performance reportingStrong business acumen in operational or asset-intensive environmentsAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools such as Power BI or TableauPreferred QualificationsExperience in maintenance, operations, logistics, or asset-intensive industriesBackground in dashboard development and performance trackingFamiliarity with work order or maintenance management systemsExperience in high-growth or performance-driven organizationsExposure to cost savings, margin improvement, or operational efficiency initiativesEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field5–8 years of FP&A, operational finance, or business partnering experienceExperience supporting operational leaders and driving data-informed decisions strongly preferredLeadership ExpectationsIndividual contributor role with no direct reportsLeads cross-functional analyses and influences business decisions across finance and operationsTravel & Work EnvironmentOccasional travel to U.S. and Canada field locationsPrimarily office-based with regular collaboration across finance and operationsPeriodic field visits to support business partnershipFast-paced, team-oriented environmentTEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is an equal opportunity employer.
