*Overall Purpose of Position*
The Senior Hyperscience Developer leads the design, development, and optimization of Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions using the Hyperscience platform. This role focuses on automating the ingestion, classification, and extraction of data from complex documents, enabling faster and more accurate workflows across the enterprise.
*Scope of Work*
* Design and develop custom workflows, document processing pipelines, and models using Hyperscience Studio.
* Train, test, and fine-tune Hyperscience machine learning models for document classification, handwriting recognition, and data extraction.
* Integrate Hyperscience with internal systems (e.g., ECM, ERP, databases) using APIs and middleware.
* Collaborate with business units to identify high-value use cases for automation and streamline manual document-heavy processes.
* Monitor system performance, accuracy, and throughput, applying continuous optimization techniques.
* Develop exception handling workflows and configure rules for human-in-the-loop review.
* Maintain documentation for system configuration, data schemas, and processing rules.
* Stay current on Hyperscience product updates, AI/ML trends, and IDP best practices.
*Qualifications and Experience*
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Information Systems, or a related field.
* 6–8 years of experience in automation, data extraction, or intelligent document processing roles.
* At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Hyperscience platform (v29 or later preferred).
* Strong understanding of OCR, NLP, and machine learning pipelines.
* Proficiency with Python and RESTful APIs for integration and scripting.
* Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, government) with high compliance requirements is a plus.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,830.34 - $130,731.16 per year
