Paid overtime may be available.JOB SUMMARYAs an Electrical Engineer in Faribault, MN, you will:Drive cost savings, margin improvement, and design enhancements across electrical systems and product linesPerform electrical design, modeling, and analysis for new products and existing electrical assembliesSupport research, development, and engineering initiatives, including concept development and early‑stage electrical designContribute to sustaining engineering activities such as cost‑reduction projects and engineering change requestsParticipate in continuous improvement efforts that strengthen product quality, reduce variation, and streamline electrical assembly processesCollaborate closely with suppliers and internal engineering partners to resolve design challenges and improve manufacturabilityContribute to projects that impact communities in Northfield, Owatonna, Dundas, Medford, Lakeville, Farmington, Waseca, and Lonsdale, and the greater southern Twin Cities metroApply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovatioQUALIFICATIONSBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (required)Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrical engineer working with electrical systems, components, and assembliesExperience with electrical design, modeling, analysis, and engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycleFamiliarity with sustaining engineering activities, cost‑reduction initiatives, continuous improvement, and Engineering Change Request processesAbility to identify, recommend, and execute electrical design improvements that support cost, quality, reliability, manufacturability, and performance goalsStrong analytical thinking, troubleshooting capability, and problem‑solving skillsExperience with electrical modeling or simulation tools (CAD, analysis, or circuit modeling platforms) preferredSKILLS AND VALUESCapable of working independently and as a team memberStrong work ethic and unwavering integrityExcellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindsetCuriosity, problem solving, and analytical thinkingEffective verbal and written communicationDesire to work on a variety of projectsADDITIONAL INFORMATIONPlease consider joining Applied's team of talented employees in Faribault, MN, and the greater southern Twin Cities metro area, with support from our Brooklyn Park, MN office.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
