What does a great Fraud & Dispute Associate do?As a Fraud & Dispute Associate, you’ll support card portfolio chargeback programs (debit, credit, prepaid). You’ll investigate claims, evaluate multiple dispute/chargeback processing options, and determine the best path to resolution. This role is essential to ensuring both clients and their customers are well cared for.What you will do:Investigate, evaluate, and process disputes/chargebacks, including contacting cardholders to assess possible fraud.Apply compliance and verification procedures to process cardholder information, while staying current on network regulatory requirements and client guidelines.Monitor systems for potential fraudulent activity and deliver excellent customer experiences via inbound and outbound calls.Track and resolve cases within regulatory and client timeframes, entering accurate data into client-specific systems.Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding chargeback requirements, dispute lifecycle, claim status, and system functionality.What you will need to have:High school diploma0–2 years of financial or customer service experience, or equivalent military experienceWhat would be great to have:Knowledge of Regulation E and Regulation ZFamiliarity with Visa and/or Mastercard operating regulationsExperience with electronic funds transfer (EFT)Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)Intermediate computer skills (minimum 40 WPM)Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
